As Director of Community Rescue Mission, Erica Holland is passionate about creating lasting solutions for families experiencing homelessness. Drawing on a strong background in leadership, education, and nonprofit management, Erica is committed to developing innovative, Christ-centered programs that not only meet immediate needs but also empower individuals and families to achieve long-term stability, independence, and hope.
Before joining Community Rescue Mission, Erica dedicated 21 years to the field of education, serving in a variety of roles ranging from classroom teacher to administrator. She is a nationally published author and a recognized speaker in the field of early childhood education throughout Arkansas. Her experience in education provided a strong foundation in servant leadership, strategic planning, community collaboration, and organizational development—skills that have seamlessly translated into nonprofit leadership. Erica believes meaningful change is achieved when organizations unite to address the root causes of poverty and homelessness while equipping individuals with the tools they need to build successful futures.
Since becoming Director, Erica has focused on expanding Community Rescue Mission's impact through strategic partnerships, organizational growth, and evidence-based programming. She has led initiatives to strengthen trauma-informed care, enhance family services, expand transitional housing opportunities, and develop maternal and infant wellness programs that support vulnerable mothers and children throughout the Arkansas River Valley. Under her leadership, Community Rescue Mission continues to pursue innovative solutions that strengthen families and create lasting change within the community.
Guided by her Christian faith and a servant-leadership philosophy, Erica believes every person deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to thrive. She is dedicated to fostering collaboration, inspiring generosity, and ensuring Community Rescue Mission remains a place where lives are restored, hope is renewed, and futures are transformed. Erica is honored to serve alongside an exceptional team of staff, volunteers, community partners, and donors who share a common commitment to helping families overcome homelessness and build brighter futures.
